	Location: Nestled in the mountains, adjacent to the immense tropical rainforest known as one of the world�s premiere wildlife sanctuaries, the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve. The hotel is 105 miles from San José.

	Hotel Facilities: Try the restaurant�s delicious and nutritional meals. In appreciation of Costa Rica�s natural heritage, meals are homemade (bread, granola, marmalade) with ingredients produced within the country � most locally (dairy products, coffee, fruits and vegetables).

	Recommended Activities: Some sites and activities you can enjoy include: guided tours to the reserve, a butterfly garden, horseback riding, hanging bridges, a canopy tour, orchid garden, a frog pond and much more. Please consult the Tours section, Monteverde for more information.

Standard Room
	The hotel offers 13 standard rooms located in the main building. All of them have private bathroom, balcony and telepnone.





Chalet
	Belmar Hotel offers 15 rooms in the Chalet Building. Each room has private bathroom, balcony and telephone. These rooms are more spacious and offer a view of the Gulf of Nicoya.
