Location: Located 345 metres (1,150 feet) above the ocean, and only 1 1/2 hours away from the Juan Santamaría Airport, this unique hideaway invites you to enjoy paradise just feet away from the clouds. Villa Caletas is on Costa Rica�s Central Pacific coast, on a jungle hilltop. From each side of the mountain, rainforest spreads to the sandy, quiet beaches below. The dark, emerald green of the wild, native vegetation contrasts with the blues of the Pacific Ocean. Views of lush tropical rainforests complement some of the most breathtaking sunsets you will witness. At the bottom of the mountain, Villa Caletas offers its own private beach.

Hotel Facilities: Swimming Pool: The vast, deep-blue pool with an "infinity" edge creates the illusion of being one with the ocean. Adding to its splendour are a miniature waterfall, an island of tropical plants, and natural-rock facing. Serenity reigns at this magnificent pool area, in keeping with the atmosphere all around the hotel. We offer bar service by the pool where you can enjoy our delicious cocktails and all sorts of drinks, the schedule of this bar is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ask one of our waiters for the lunch by the pool. Beach: One mile from the hotel guests can enjoy Caletas beach, an hourly transfer will take you back and forth starting at 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 pm or even better if you have your own 4x4, you can go at any time to this wild and very private pebble beach, equipped with sun beds and refreshing drinks out of our snack bar to relax under the sun or under the cool shade. Exercise room: A little sweat won�t do any harm you during your vacation, try our exercise room, workout early in the morning or in the afternoon, take advantage of this facility and enjoy a universal machine, bicycle elliptical, weights and bench. Restaurants & Bars: Mirador: International cuisine with French style. Open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Anfiteatro: International cuisine. Open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The bar and restaurants offer exquisite cuisine, your favorite drinks and incredible views of the coastline. Mountain Pool: The hotel swimming pool, on the edge of the mountain precipice, is a place of refuge. Its natural rock facings, miniature waterfall and tropical plant island add to the sense of tranquility one feels throughout the hotel property. Special Events and Meeting Rooms: Sala Martiguez: Capacity for 24 persons. Restaurante y Terraza Anfiteatro: Capacity from 35 to 120 persons. Restaurante Mirador: Capacity from 50 to 120 persons. Terraza Mirador: Capacity from 70 to 120 persons.

Each spacious room contains two twin beds or one queen-sized bed, private bathroom with ample hot water, air conditioning and ceiling fans, as well as a mini-bar and coffee maker.

Resemble compact apartments, with terraces large enough to constitute sunrooms. Bedrooms may have: one queen-sized bed; one queen & two twins; or one queen & one twin.

These Suites are larger than the Villas and display better ocean and mountain views from a large terrace with a Jacuzzi. Air conditioning and ceiling fans, a cosy living room, private bath with hot water, mini-bar and coffee maker provide comfortable living.

A wonderful upgrade from the Junior Suites or Villas. These rooms each have a spacious and private swimming pool, air conditioning, ceiling fans, a cosy living room, private bath with hot water; mini-bar and coffee maker.
