Description: Turtle Beach Lodge is 5 miles north of the town of Tortuguero. It is a secluded resort spanning 175 acres, with miles of jungle trails, a meandering private canal, and a half-mile of beach adjoining still more isolated beaches in both directions. It is like being at the end of the world. There are no cars or buses at the lodge, and the noises are mostly those of crashing waves, jabbering birds and monkeys, and all the other exotic animals of the jungle.

	Location: Tortuguero, the village nearest Turtle Beach Lodge, is on the Caribbean Sea approximately 90 miles northeast of the capital city of San José, Costa Rica.

	Hotel Facilities: The lodge accommodates approximately 80 guests; attended by well-trained staff and guides who ease you into an exciting jungle experience. Stay in the beautifully landscaped cabins, swim in our turtle-shaped pool, relax in the adjacent shady hammock hut with food and drink from the restaurant and bar.

	Recommended Activities: Turtle Beach Lodge is pleased to offer a variety of guided tours available on the grounds: the Garden Tour, Jungle Tour (day or night), and Turtle-watching Tour. Also, the hotel offers kayaks, horseback riding, fishing, card games, croquet and bocce.

Standard Room
	The hotel has 32 comfortable rooms, each with a beautiful view. You can choose single, double or triple rooms with private bathroom and hot water. Some rooms have a beach view; others have a jungle view and terrace.
